New amplification technologies

Most isothermal amplification is focused on diagnostic detection, using very short products for rapid identification of target sequences. These methods are powerful and useful but limited in scope as we look to a future of ultra-long-read sequencing and synthetic biology where controlled production of very long DNA molecules will be needed. We are utilizing novel enzymatic activities, replication systems from biological organisms, and our expertise in isothermal chemistries as we work toward a future of long DNA.
