Methods and tools for isothermal diagnostics

A primary focus of the lab is to build better tools and methods for molecular diagnostics using isothermal amplification. These techniques are well-suited to field and point-of-care applications, and we aim to help bring the power of diagnostic approaches to new settings. Through new enzymes like Bst 2.0 and Antarctic Thermolabile UDG, control mechanisms using aptamers for our WarmStart® enzymes, and simple detection approaches like Colorimetric LAMP, we hope to expand the toolbox of isothermal amplification to broaden the usability and performance of LAMP and other isothermal amplification tools.
